The Red Fox Inn is situated immediately beside the Kerry Bog Village
and is an ideal place to stop and enjoy a drink or a tasty meal. Our
Irish Coffee is a well-known speciality and a discount is available
to visitors who purchase a ticket for the Village.

Below
is an article from The
Kerryman newspaper about the Inn.
| "The
Red fox Pub and Restaurant is situated in the very heart of
Kerry's rolling spongy boglands in Ballincleave - half way between
the famous Puck Fair town of Killorglin and the beautiful scenic
village of Glenbeigh. Who would have thought that in such a
short period of time that this establishment would be acknowledged
internationally as having a reputation of providing top class
food, drink and genuine Kerry friendliness. |

The
Red Fox Inn is unique in that there is always an atmosphere of contentment
and happiness which visitors find is Kerry's magic potion. The Mulvihill
family feel that courtesy and politeness to visitors is equally
important as the food and the drink served there.
|
The
Bar is of course mostly famous for its magnificent Irish Coffees,
The Red Fox are proud to have their own unique method of making
this delightful drink. Tea towels and cards containing the
method are huge sellers in the bar.

The
Red Fox Inn and Restaurant in the heart of Kerry is indeed an experience
to behold, both for Kerry people and especially for tourists visiting
the County. You can capture a taste of life in Ireland at the turn
of the century in the Kerry Bog Village Museum, you can see the
almost extinct Bog Pony and dine in the amazing and breath taking
surroundings of Ballincleave. With over 17 very successful years
behind them, John and Olive are looking forward to a great future
at The Red Fox Inn and Kerry Bog Museum."
